Valley men to cook for TEAM

TEAM’s annual “Men Who Cook” returns to Warsaw Park in Ansonia on April 20.
More than 70 Valley guys — non of them professional cooks,  but community minded individuals who enjoy the camaraderie of a great evening with friends and neighbors — will wear the apron that evening.
On the menu is a variety of foods typical in different parts of the world, such as empanadas, porketta, chicken marsala, and unique pasta dishes. Like it spicy? Try the wings, barbecue and buffalo chicken. For seafood lovers there is shrimp alfredo and seafood gumbo.
Get your veggies in southwestern gazpacho, brushetta and other dishes. There will be smoked turkey, the comfort of chicken pot pie, and sandwiches made with plantains and traditional sausage peppers and onions.
Dessert is freshly baked coconut cupcakes, cookies and other sweet treats.
