Winter Weather Advisory for the Valley

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the Valley and all of Connecticut from 6 p.m. tonight until 7 a.m. Sunday.

The main weather-related danger overnight is freezing rain, with temperatures expected to drop the freezing point. Rain predicted to begin falling before midnight then change to a wintry mix. Snow accumulation is predicted to be less than an inch, but icing conditions could develop. The combination of snow and freezing rain could make travel difficult. Be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibility.
