Lenten pasta suppers — featuring short plays portraying Biblical characters who witnessed the Easter story, on Friday Feb. 22 at Great HIll United Methodist Church, 225 Great Hill Road, Seymour. Dinner is from 5:30 to 7p.m., followed by the play at 7 p.m. Cost is $6/adults; $3/child; $20 /family of 5 or more. Call 203-888-9425.

Pierogi sale — Fridays from 9 to 11 a.m. and Sundays from 5 to 7 p.m. from 11 to noon through Easter, Seymour Congregational Church, Broad Street. Cost is $6/dozen. Call 203-881-2027.

Lunch and Learn — “Life Works Better With a Plan,” program  on staying organized at Shady Knoll Health Center, 41 Skokorat Street, Seymour,  Feb. 27, at 1 p.m.  Professional  organizers from FOCUS (Fairfield Organizers Creating Ultimate Solutions) will talk about decluttering, paper management and creating a system  to stay organized. Sunday, March 3
Food, Fun & Fitness — Activities for people of all abilities, including batting cages, sports activities for children two and older and cardio sport fitness for ages 13 and older. There will also be complimentary chair massages. Free event, but a donation or pledge to the Parent Child Resource Center Endowment Fund in Derby accepted. Casino trip — to Mohegan Sun, sponsored by Holy Rosary Church, on Monday, March 11. Bus leaves the church, 10 Father Salemi Drive, Ansonia, at 8:15 a.m. and leaves the casino at 4 p.m. Proceeds benefit the organ fund.
